Ameluno's guides are written for people dating across borders: meeting someone from another country, keeping a long-distance relationship strong, and staying safe online. This page explains who writes them and how we look after them.

Who writes the guides

Guides are published by the Ameluno Editorial Team, the people who build and run Ameluno. We write from what we see every day on an international dating site: the questions members ask, the problems they run into, and what tends to help.

How we write them

  • Practical and neutral. We explain the trade-offs and avoid telling anyone how they should live or love.
  • Respectful of every culture, country and faith. We describe differences without ranking them.
  • Honest about Ameluno. We mention our own features only where they genuinely help with the topic, and never in place of the advice.
  • No paid placements. Guides contain no sponsored content and no affiliate links.

Keeping guides up to date

Every guide shows when it was first published and when it was last updated. We revisit guides when something changes, such as new safety advice or a new Ameluno feature, and when readers point out something we can improve.

What guides are not

Our guides are general information. They are not legal, immigration, financial, medical or mental health advice. For visas and residency, always check official government sources, and for anything serious, speak to a qualified professional.
