Getting started
Is Ameluno free?+
Yes. Creating a profile, discovering people by country, filtering by intentions, and messaging are all free.
How do I create an account?+
Choose Join free, then enter your name, email, a password, and your current city. We email you a confirmation link; once you confirm, you can sign in and finish your profile.
Who is Ameluno for?+
Adults (18+) who want a serious relationship and are open to meeting someone from another country, whether that means long-distance dating, relocating, or welcoming someone to where you live.
Which countries and languages are supported?+
You can meet people from any country. The site itself is available in 23 languages, which you can change from the language menu or in Account › Site preferences.
Profiles and discovery
What can other people see on my profile?+
Your display name, age (calculated from your date of birth, which stays private), city, languages, photos, and the conversation prompts you answer. Detailed profile information is visible to signed-in members.
How many photos can I add?+
Up to six photos in JPEG, PNG, or WebP format, each up to 8 MB. You can reorder them and choose which one appears first.
How do the search filters work?+
Anyone can browse by country. Once you sign in, you can also filter by age, language, height, relationship goal, relocation plans, children, long-distance preferences, and time-zone compatibility.
Messaging and translation
How does messaging work?+
Open someone's profile and choose Message. You can send one introduction; once they reply, the conversation opens up fully. This keeps first contact thoughtful and cuts down on spam.
How does translation work in conversations?+
Write naturally in your own language. Your match reads a translation in theirs, with your original message always available beside it so nuance is never lost. You can turn translations on or off in Account › Site preferences.
Safety, privacy, and your account
How do I report or block someone?+
Use Report or Block on their profile, or the same options inside a conversation. Reports go to our safety team for review and are never shared with the person you report. Blocking stops them from messaging you.
Who can see my messages?+
Only you and the person you are talking to. Our safety team may review a conversation when it is reported.
I forgot my password. What do I do?+
Choose Sign in, then Forgot password, and enter your email. We will send you a link to set a new password.
How do I delete my account?+
Go to Account › Safety & privacy and choose Delete my account. This permanently removes your profile, photos, and messages.
